10 Cool Things

The following are 10 things I think are cool (in no particular order):

1) My family- They can be boogers sometimes, but I think the most important relationship a person can have is a familial one. Honestly, most of my best memories are with my family, and I value each person and all that they are.

2) Jonas Brothers
    I am unashamedly the Jo Bros #1 Fan. I love their music now and I loved it since 2007. They just bring back so many memories of being a young kid in love with life, with music, and figuring out different styles.

3) Twenty One Pilots

    I really like listening to music. It's my personal addiction, and I had not really branched out in terms of the type of music that I listened to until I discovered 21 Pilots. Their song "Screen" came out, and I felt like I had been missing out on all this incredible music my whole life.

4) Anime

    I got into Anime in college. I always thought people that were really into Anime were weird. . . I still kind of do, but it's grown on me. I am constantly trying to get my siblings to get into different shows with me. I'm not too picky with subgenres in Anime, I've liked a lot of what I have seen.

5) London

   I had the opportunity to go on the study abroad last Summer 2018. I absolutely fell in love with the vibe and atmosphere. Anytime someone mentions England now, I perk up. It was such a culture shock, but was such a great, enlightening experience that really helped me grow and look at the world differently. 

6) Siberian Huskies

     Now, with this one, I may be a bit biased, but I think Siberian Huskies are the coolest, cutest, most energetic dogs. They are so pretty to look at and are incredibly strong doggies. Here is a picture of mine:

7) The Soccer (Futbol) World Cup 

    This one I think is really cool because it connects so many people. Soccer is such a huge sport around the world, and it is something a lot of people relate to. I personally think it's super fun to both play and watch, especially with my dad. This last world cup, I watched almost every single game. 

8) The "Crime Junkie" Podcast

    I was recently referred to this podcast by a coworker, and ever since, I have been a true crime fanatic. I've always been a fan of crime investigation shows and this podcast drew my attention. Now, I tune in to my Spotify app every Monday for new episodes, and even joined the Crime Junkie fan club. 

9) Hispanic Weddings

    This one is one I think a lot of people will think are cool: hispanic weddings--Mexican, to be specific. Parties are something Mexicans will go all out on, and the music is always lit. There is no being cheap when it comes to having fun, and professional DJs and actual meals served are a must. I love the atmosphere and it is so much fun to attend and have to take a backup pair of flats for when my feet can't handle dancing in heels anymore. 

10) El Dia de Reyes

     This is a Mexican Holiday celebrated after Christmas to commemorate the coming of Christ and tells the story of the Three Kings who brought Him gifts. It is a sweet holiday that brings attention to the true meaning of Christmas and carries along with it sweet traditions like the Rosca and baby Jesus doll.
