Photos 14- Texture, symmetry, leading lines

Shoot three purposeful images this week. Post them on your blog by Saturday.
You will take one photo of each of the prompts: Symmetry, Texture, and Leading Lines or Vectors
Include a brief artist’s statement with each photo.
With this first image, I wanted to show a simple example of symmetry. I think symmetry helps us feel more at ease with a subject. I think this does that.

This second image is supposed to show texture. Since I had to use my phone for this one, it didn't quite get across what I wanted. I had wanted to focus more on the tree and use the plant as a little bit of texture, but it did not work.

Leading lines is what I sought to find. I ended up finding it everywhere, but thought these dolls were cute, so I photographed this Christmas display. The lines of their bases lead to this character on the end. I think it works for the assignment.
